Three Delicious Paleo Breakfast Ideas

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so it has to be nutritious and to give us energy for the rest of the day or at least until we decide to have lunch. But breakfast also needs to be an easy and light meal. In this case, a paleo breakfast seems like a wonderful option. Based on the paleo diet which basically mimics the diet of our ancestors and is based on fish, eggs, vegetables, fruit, fungi, roots, nuts and grass-fed pasture raised meats. It seems like a great collection of ingredients and it’s enough to allow us to create all sorts of delicious and easy-to-make recipes. Here are three examples.

Full of protein and easy to make, this recipe only requires 5 minutes of prep time and another 5 minutes of cooking time. The burrito is made of sliced ham, 2 eggs and ¼ cup of chopped veggies. You can use anything you want: spinach, olives, peppers, tomato, etc. You can also add salsa or guacamole to add some extra flavor. The instructions are very simple. Sauté the veggies and whisk the eggs in a small bowl. Pout the eggs over the veggies and scramble the mix with a spatula.
