Top 5 Cream-Based Soups

I personally love creamy soups. They’re very hearty and delicious. But I don’t too many recipes. Still, you can always learn. So here are 5 cream-based soup recipes we can all try and see how tasty they are. It’s a perfect meal for a cold winter day.

Creamy mushroom soup.

Peel off the skins of the mushrooms, slice them and put them in the pan with onion, celery, garlic, parsley, thyme and olive oil. Take out 4 tablespoons of mushrooms and then pour in the stock. Season and put everything in the blender. Top with the reserved mushrooms.{found on jamieoliver}.

Corn soup.


Melt butter and slowly mix in flour. Then slowly add milk ad bring to a boil. Add sweet corn and season with salt and rosemary. Stir constantly until you’re happy with the consistency.{found on cutepigblog}.

Cream cheese, chicken and vegetable soup.

Melt butter, add onion, garlic, celery and carrots and saute. Then add the veggies to make then tender. Add the chicken broth and potatoes and bring to a simmer. Cook butter, onion and garlic for about 15 minutes. Whisk in flour and chicken stock. Add the beans, oregano and thyme. Let it cook and then add the soup to a blender to puree it. Avocado soup.


Chop the avocado and put it in a bowl with 4 tbsp of sour cream. Mash it. Then warm and chicken stock and stir in the remaining sour cream. Gradually add the avocado mixture. Blend the soup and sprinkle cilantro and black pepper on top.{found on betterrecipes}.
